Kala Pratisthan
Gujarat Kala Pratisthan – India, is an
Organisation which is inspired and laid on the foundation from the spectacular
and lovely vision of KalaGuru Mr. Jashubhai Nayak, since last ten years is
productively working to proliferate art and to promote skills of the artists of
Gujarat. To accomplish the vision and reach to its crowning point, Chairman Mr.
Chaganbhai Patel in association with and under the guidance of General
Secretary Mr. Ramnikbhai Zapadiya , the whole team which includes the
companionship of artists regarded and as precious as nine gems, fellows from
the Co-ordination Committee and with the voluntary contribution of other
artists of Gujarat is productively working to promote art activities with love and
inspiration.
By the means of the organization, which
works in the favour to benefit the artist in terms of Individual, Communal,
Institutional and Social upliftment , also to provide expression opportunities
to execute the finnish of emerging artists. To nuture the culture of
creativity, to germinate the flow of art and to honour the creations, efforts
are wholeheartedly and consistently put in to practice to accomplish these
objectives.
To enhance artists globally, to
introduce them with the International Art forms and to make them gel with new
concepts, we have conducted series of Kala Utsav in which impactful enlightment
is given to them by National and International artists.
These medium of Painting Workshops, Kala
Shibirs and Art Exhibitions in which the participation of such Prestigious
Artists has been proven as stimulating and inspirational factor for art
creators. Due to these consecutive events, emerging artists has got a pathway
to head towards new direction.
To make this relentless artistry more
sublime we do have organized, One Man Show and Group Show of Artists. INR
1,36,000/- has been gifted and honoured to the artists from Shri KalaGuru Shri
Jashubhai Nayak KalaNidhi Fund without expecting or concerning any form of
return from them for 3 number of One Man Show and 16 number of Group Shows.
Also, an aid of INR 2,68,000/- has been provided to the needy artists for
medical treatments.
With unique insight for the field of
art, to have varied prospectives, by originality and innovation etc., and with
an contemplative aim to strengthen own art, to give new dimensions, 511 number
of artists are associated with Gujarat Kala Pratisthan- India.
In Last 9 number of years, by the
platform of Kala Shibirs, Art Exhibitions and Painting Workshops, INR
66,38,000/- ( Indian National Rupee Sixty Six Lakhs Thirty Eight Thousand) cash
is being contributed as help to these artists embodying shapes with the medium
of colours and strokes, by honouring their creativity with the medium of
awards, rewards and masterpiece appraisers.
Till date, a written medium of 28 number of “KalaVid” magazine has been
published and is sent on regular basis without taking any amount as an
subscription for the same to approximate more than 1400 number of artists, art
lovers and to the devotees of art. By these medium of literature, medium of Art
Education has somewhere contributed Educating Mankind as well. In each and
every Art Events, by practicing and manifesting
the prestige rememberence, we try to endeavour the holy light in the
entire art world of Gujarat–
India

With the help of High Grounds of Art and
the neo factors, more than 1900 number of
artists were oriented in Painting Workshops and its constituted by our
Organisation. By organizing 10 number of KalaShibirs at different destinations
, 1000 number of artists were taken in to the look of Nature at Saputara,
Tulshishyam, Idar, Porbandar, Nargol, Bhuj, Palitana and Bharuch, where in
Natural Environment, they have prepared 10582 number of Live Landscapes. This amazing activity has
benefited to emerge the undiscovered transcendency of the artists of Gujarat .
To capture
the memories, to maintain its intact of
each and every KalaShibir and Painting Workshop, with the intention that, when artist
resumes back to own life, practice the same and can make some difference, 18
number of Documentaries were prepared
and bestowed free of cost to 5400 number of artists. These Art Documentaries
has reserved a glorified place in the National History of Art.
To maintain
the transparency of administration of the organisation, every year we do overt
the complete financial information to artists via annual report with a divine
motive to strengthen and beam the economic sacredness of the organization in
the hearts of entire art community.
24/12/2006,
is the foundation day of our organisation which has successfully accomplished
10 number of years. To dignify this grand achievement our organisation is
celebrating its 10th year as “Dashabdi Varsh”. Many artistic
projects were taken in to hand and tried to concrete it successfully.
In pretext
to celebrate our “Dashabdi Varsh”, with the purpose to fortunate the knowledge
of art in the lives of art creators of
Gujarat, 10 number of art literature were published in which financial

gifting this art momento of 10 Kala Granth to 1000 number of art creators in
the prestigious occasion of “Dashabdi Varsh” has proven to be beneficence to
foster the heritage of the art of
Written with
the pen of Prestigious Literature Writer of Gujarat – India , Dr. Mukul Choksi,
and with the voice of well known singer, melodist and music director, Shraddha
Siddharani along with co-singer, Aman Lekhadia, we have released our title song
of Gujarat Kala Pratisthan – India with the lyrics as “ Kala Amaru Rajwadu and
Ama Ana Darwaan, Amari Aaan, Baan Ana Shaan, Gujarat Kala Pratisthan”. Our
artist C.T. Prajapati has prepared by working really hard and presented his new
douceur as a documental souvenier of 10 number of Successful years and proven
his achievement for which we are truly grateful for.
Those
artists whose contribution to art has not only limited to national level but
has also got exposure at international level.
These promoters and broadcasters of promoting art globally in different
fields includes Painting artists Anil Relia (Archer Group – Ahemadabad) and
Shri Pratapsinh Jadeja (Rajkot), Photographers Shri Jyoti Bhatt (Vadodara) and
Vivek Desai (Ahemadabad), Sculpturers Shri Raghav Kaneria (Vadodara), Shri
Ratilal Kansodariya (Ahemadabad) and Shri Ankit Patel (Varaccha Surat – now in
Jaipur), Painting Artists Shri Bharti Prajapati (Ahemdabad), Shri Vrundavan
Solanki (Ahemadabad), Shri Kanu Patel (Vallabhvidyanagar), these 10 number
of artists as equivalent as assets
pioneering the Heritage and Culture of Gujarat and to honour these, Mother of
our Chairman Mr. Chaganbhai Patel, Late Ms. Parvatiben Vallabhbhai Patel has
awarded cash amount of INR 2,50,000/- to the organisation. Out of which we have awarded Bharat KalaRatna
and INR 21,000/- in cash with pride and honour. Like these, we have undertaken
so many initiatives which empowers the art heritage globally and reserved few
pages in the history of Gujarat .
On
10/03/2016, at Surat and with the divine presence of Shri Morari Bapu, leading
industrialists and artists from Gujarat, we have conducted the inauguration
ceremony and initiated a level of promotion of skilled art which has created a
remarkable history not only in Gujarat – India
We have
released KalaGranth at 6 number of places in Gujarat which includes Rajkot , Bhavnagar , Jamnagar Gujarat Kala Pratisthan
has awarded INR 25,000/- from KalaGuru Shri Jashubhai Nayak Kalanidhi Fund to
console and honour the artists. During KalaUtsav, we do have organised Live
Demonstrations by inviting International artists which has empowered and inspired
so many artists to new subjects.
In our
series of KalaUtsav, we have organised this year, as per the details below at
various places and with the support and help of people from prestigious
designatories, we have awarded artists for their contribution in various fields
of art such as literature, music, dance, theatre, sculpture, photography,
painting etc.. and honoured with Prestigious KalaRatna Award with a ritual of
bestowing and honoring them with Shawl and other traditions. Also, approx 1000
number of KalaGranth were distributed and bestowed to the artists at the end of
this series.

On the occassion of our Dashabdi Varsh
Successfully
accomplished 10 numbers of KalaUtsav at various places Made a
history by making 811 number of artist participation Bestowed
with pride and honour, 1000 number of KalaGranth 174
Kalaratna awards were given with prestige and recognition More than
2000 number of artists from In Each and
Every KalaUtsav, without concerning any form of return, organisation has contributed
INR 3,69,000/- from KalaGuru Shri Jashubhai Nayak KalaNidhi Fund to KalaUtsav
Samiti.
As a result
of all these, artists from Gujarat are now
conducting their solo and group shows by their own at National and
International Level. We have enlighted and showed them the light of learning
for life & true meaning of growing as an individual. Now they have already headed towards their
journey and one can see the significant impact of their enlightment. Educating
and Empowering mankind and the community of artists is our motto and we are
blessed to reach this level. We are still working on bringing unexplored
platforms and providing various opportunities to the artists and to serve
better each moment.
